A Cluster-Level Training on Gender Equality and Justice was conducted on 24th and 25th February 2026 at BMSSS, Bangalore, with the participation of 38 members representing four clusters. The two-day training aimed at strengthening the cluster-level gender teams and enhancing their capacity to effectively promote gender sensitivity, equality, and justice within their respective communities. The sessions were systematically designed to provide both conceptual understanding and practical approaches to addressing gender-related issues at the grassroots level. Through comprehensive discussions, participatory learning methods, case studies, and group exercises, participants were encouraged to critically reflect on gender roles, stereotypes, and structural inequalities prevalent in society. The training emphasized understanding local realities and identifying key barriers to achieving gender justice. Special focus was placed on building collective responsibility, strengthening leadership skills, and promoting community-based advocacy to address gender-based discrimination and ensure inclusive practices. The program also provided a vibrant platform for experience-sharing, mutual learning, and collaborative action planning among the clusters, enabling participants to return to their communities with renewed commitment and concrete strategies for promoting gender equality and justice.
