The Safeguarding Review Meeting and Capacity Building Programme was conducted on 1 July 2026 at the Regional Resource Centre, KROSS, Bengaluru, with the participation of SaFE Point Persons from the Diocesan Social Service Societies (DSSSs) across Karnataka. The programme aimed to review the progress of the SaFE Programme implemented from October 2025 to May 2026, assess achievements and challenges, and facilitate knowledge sharing among the participating organizations. The meeting also provided a platform for participants to exchange best practices and strengthen coordination for effective safeguarding implementation.A major focus of the programme was the capacity building session on Safeguarding Global Minimum Standards 5 and 6, which covered the Feedback, Complaint and Response Mechanism (FCRM) and Investigation Procedures. Through interactive discussions and practical sessions, participants enhanced their understanding of safeguarding principles, complaint handling, survivor-centred approaches, and investigation processes. The meeting concluded with the development of action plans and strategies to strengthen safeguarding systems, improve accountability, and ensure the continued implementation of safe and inclusive practices across all partner organizations.
