A Cluster-Level Training on Gender Equality and Justice was conducted on 26th and 27th February 2026 at SAMPADA, Udupi, bringing together representatives from various clusters. The two-day program focused on strengthening the capacity of cluster-level gender teams to effectively address issues related to gender sensitivity, equality, and justice within their operational areas. The sessions were thoughtfully structured to blend conceptual clarity with practical application. Through interactive discussions, participatory exercises, real-life case studies, and group reflections, participants explored gender roles, societal expectations, and the systemic challenges that hinder equality. Emphasis was placed on understanding local realities and developing context-specific strategies to promote inclusive and equitable practices. The training also highlighted the importance of collaborative leadership, accountability, and grassroots advocacy in addressing gender-based discrimination. The program served as a dynamic platform for shared learning and collective planning, enabling participants to return to their communities with renewed motivation and concrete action plans to advance gender justice.
