A three-day Capacity Building Workshop, organized by Caritas India in New Delhi from November 5th to 7th, 2025, brought together representatives from the Regional Forum and six new partners. The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes across a broad range of topics, including cultural violence, sexual harassment, exploitation and abuse, adverse childhood experiences, understanding spiritual abuse and responding to spiritual harm, and safeguarding laws (such as POSH, POCSO, etc.).Additionally, the workshop provided a comprehensive overview of the safeguarding ecosystem, empowering participants to develop an actionable plan for the next three months.This Training of Trainers (ToT) initiative was designed to foster ownership and ensure sustainability by equipping the Forum with the necessary tools to independently conduct safeguarding training for its partner DSSSs (Development Support Service Societies).A total of 34 participants from across the country attended the programme, making it a successful and impactful event.
